Recruiting good people is one of the biggest challenges in hospitality. Hilton's recruitment team at its Singapore head office hired us to make an employer-branding film to attract new staff in Japan. As an international hospitality company, Hilton wanted to reach people looking for a forward-thinking, employee-friendly employer. For this recruitment video production in Japan, we filmed six real Hilton employees at Hilton Tokyo Bay, each telling their own story.
The brief
The film had to show what working at Hilton is actually like, and the most believable way to do that is through the staff themselves. So there were no actors, and no one pretending.
How we produced it
The whole idea was honest communication from the employees themselves. We worked with them gently and slowly, letting each person tell their story in their own way. Light feedback and patient coaching brought out the happiness, personality and warmth that make them good at their jobs. Everything was filmed in Japanese, for a Japanese audience.
What we delivered
We delivered a Japanese-language recruitment film for Hilton's hiring in Japan.
