Twenty Hall, Bondi — Luxury Property Brand Film, Sydney

Some of our hospitality and luxury property work takes us beyond Japan. For Sydney design agency Extrablack and developer Taylor, we produced the brand film for Twenty Hall, a boutique luxury apartment development in Bondi. The building did not exist yet, so the film had to sell a lifestyle before the first residents moved in. It combines CGI of the development with lifestyle footage around Bondi and an interview with the architect.

The brief

Extrablack came to us with a general idea of what it wanted. We filled in the gaps and did the creative work: location scouting, planning, shot lists, storyboards, casting, assembling the crew, and all of the post-production.

How we produced it

With no finished building to film, the story came from the neighbourhood. We filmed Bondi's restaurants and bars, the beach, and the outdoor life that makes the area special. In the edit we combined that footage with the CGI renders and the architect's interview to tell the story of the development.

What we delivered

The brand film played in the display suite, on the website and on social media to drive pre-sales. The photography from the same project has its own post: Twenty Hall Bondi photography.
