The brief
ONE Championship asked us to profile Yoshihiro Akiyama — "Sexyama" — one of the best-known names in Japanese combat sport. A former judoka who won gold at the 2002 Asian Games, he went on to win the K-1 HERO'S light heavyweight Grand Prix in 2006 and fought in the UFC before joining ONE Championship.
How we produced it
We filmed him training in the gym and around Tokyo, and shot the interview in offices in Shibuya. Crew: director/DOP, camera assistant and sound operator.
