Rakuten Symphony — Corporate Communications Videos, Tokyo

Rakuten Symphony, Rakuten's telecoms technology business, needed a series of corporate communications videos: product introductions, brand messaging and CEO communications, featuring its then-CEO Tareq Amin among others. We were commissioned by Australian agency The Eponine Company, which wrote the scripts, and we produced the corporate video in Tokyo at Rakuten Symphony's own offices.

How we produced it

The series was filmed in English for an international audience, with the speakers delivering from a teleprompter.

Filming had to happen in the offices, but the client wanted a location that looked different. So we built one. We printed a single image onto a 6 × 3 metre canvas and used it as the backdrop, which gave us a controlled, premium set inside a working office building.

What we delivered

The finished series covered product introduction, brand messaging and CEO communication videos for Rakuten Symphony's global audience.
